Student Work Opportunity on Campus with Pacific Northwest Seismic Network

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) is the authoritative seismic network for Washington and Oregon State. We work within the Earth and Space Sciences (ESS) Department in Johnson Hall. We are seeking students to fill two positions, one with a focus in the Electronics Shop and one focused on web product and software development. One flier for each position is attached. We have had success hiring students from within your departments in the past and are hoping you could help us get the word out about our school year and summertime employment opportunities. Specifically we are seeking Sophomore or Junior year candidates who will hopefully be able to remain with the PNSN for more than a year.

Please have students email their resumes or interview requests to pnsn .

We will be conducting interviews in the next few weeks, and we hope to select candidates early in the Spring Quarter.

If you have any questions at all don’t hesitate to reply to this email or call me at the Seismology Lab at (206)685-8180.

Thank you,
Doug Gibbons
