Geoscience Currents #88: Rankings & Top 10 Degree Granting Institutions for University Geoscience Faculty

Currently, of the nearly 10,300 geoscience faculty and staff employed at U.S.
four-year universities, 72% of the geoscience faculty are tenured and 14% of the
geoscience faculty are untenured but in tenure-track positions. Currents #88
looks at the percentages of geoscience faculty by ranks and the top ten degree
granting institutions where current faculty received their terminal degree.
