Environment Washington – Jobs for Students

My name is Sean Anderson, I’m a director with the Fund for the Public Interest, a national non-profit organization that works to build support for progressive organizations
across the country. Last summer our campaign staff across the country helped ban off-shore drilling to protect our coasts, repealed Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, and increased food
safety standards to make school lunches safer—all while building valuable leadership skills.

Right now we’re hiring students for our campaign office in Seattle, WA with Environment Washington on a campaign to protect forests and wildlife in the North Cascades.

Campaign staff will build membership for Environment Washington, educate and activate citizens to protect 230,000 acres of forest outside of North Cascades National Park, and
generate political pressure on key elected officials by running phone banks.

We’ve found that email announcements are one of the best ways to identify talented students interested in a campaign job working for an important cause. I’d love to reach any
of your students who might be interested in working with the Fund for the Public Interest and Environment Washington. Can you forward the following email message below to your
classes?

Thanks so much in advance; I may be reached at this email, or at the phone number below.
