Geoscience Currents #75: Early-Career Underrepresented Minority Faculty and Federal Agencies

The American Geosciences Institute in collaboration with the National Academy of
Engineering hosted a 2.5-day workshop in April 2012 for early-career and future
faculty who are underrepresented minorities in the geosciences. Currents 75
examines the evaluation data from pre and post surveys administered to
participants relating to their experiences with federal agencies. In general,
attendees had increased confidence levels regarding activities relating to
federal agencies and have reported an increase in the value of these experiences
relating to their careers.
