Small Steps, Big Win challenge

smallsteps.netimpact.org

the above is a link to the Small Steps, Big Win challenge I was talking about. The competition isn’t that hard and I’m really hoping a lot of people are willing to participate. Once you sign up, you win points by recycling, saving energy, taking hikes…there are a lot of different ways to win points and all of them are pretty easy. Our goal is to earn points and compete with other schools. Since this is the first year UW is participating, I hope we can really make a difference!

Thank you!

Declaring an ESS Major

Happy Autumn Quarter, everyone!

I am writing to announce that from this day forward, students who would like to declare a major in Earth and Space Sciences may start the process by filling out a form on our website: http://www.ess.washington.edu/ess/education/undergrad/

Please note we are an open major, and the form is not an application. =)

Sorry to spam everyone on a hectic day. Good luck to everyone to kick off the 13-14 year!
