DUE 5/21: Undergraduate nominations for Excellence in Teaching Award

Who inspires you?

The UW’s Tolo Chapter of Mortar Board invites all undergraduates to nominate an outstanding professor who has inspired and has made exceptional contributions towards the education of UW undergraduates.

Mortar Board’s Excellence in Teaching Award annually recognizes an extraordinary professor who has proven to be particularly dedicated to the intellectual success of undergraduates. Over the years, selected professors have represented a diversity of academic departments.

All nominations for the 2013 Excellence in Teaching Award must be received by Tuesday, May 21, at 5 pm. A nomination form is attached to this announcement.

The oldest continuing national honor society at the University of Washington,

Mortar Board recognizes college seniors for distinguished ability and

achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service. Mortar Board, Tolo Chapter, was founded at the University of Washington in 1909, is the oldest continuing honor society on campus, and has included numerous distinguished alumni.
