UW Electrical Engineering Professional Master’s Program

Whether you recently graduated from an undergraduate program, are already working as a bachelor’s level electrical engineer or want to break into a new field, the UW Electrical Engineering Professional Master’s Program (PMP) may be for you. With an outstanding curriculum comparable to the traditional daytime Master’s Program, the Electrical Engineering PMP offers a wide range of courses in the evening from wireless communications, electromagnetics, and energy to signal processing and controls. The PMP leads to the exact same degree offered through the traditional daytime Master’s Program, the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE).

The Professional Master’s Program is now open to domestic and international students and is designed to accommodate both full-time and part-time students. Though the PMP has a slightly more “professional” orientation than the daytime program, professional experience is not required. Courses are taught by the same world-class faculty who teach in our daytime Master’s program and highlight cutting-edge research and current, relevant issues and topics in industry.
