UW Freshwater Science Initiative Faculty Candidate Seminars

The Freshwater Sciences faculty search has been underway for the last several months. After reviewing over 350 applications, the committee has narrowed their selection to the top 10 candidates. Each candidate’s interview will take place over three days, with one day on the Tacoma campus and two in Seattle. While on the Seattle campus, candidates will present a seminar regarding their area of research, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. While visiting the Tacoma campus, they will lead two discussions—a ‘chalk talk’ with the Environmental Science faculty and senior undergraduates and a short (20 minute) research talk at the Center for Urban Waters.
