UW-REN Capstone: Richmond Beach Saltwater Park

Join the University of Washington Ecological Restoration Capstone Students and the City of Shoreline as we restore Richmond Beach Saltwater Park this Saturday, February 9th from 10am-2pm.

Over the course of the next few months there are 5 scheduled work-party days that are open to the public. The work-parties are all on Saturdays, run from 10am-2pm, and will take place rain or shine (please dress for the elements). Restoration activities will range from invasive species removal, slope stabilization and native planting. Participants should meet at the restroom located in the Park’s main parking lot. Minors are welcome to participate with an accompanying adult.

If you would like more information about the project feel free to email us at richmondbeach2013 or City of Shoreline Parks Project Coordinator, Maureen Colaizzi at mcolaizzi, and don’t forget to like us on our Facebook page at facebook.com/Richmondbeachrestoration2013.

All workparties are on Saturdays at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park in the City of Shoreline from 10am-2pm. See you there!
