Joint program with Cornell in Hawaii – Envir. Science, Geo – 2 spaces left for UW students!

Environmental Sustainability Semester in Hawaii

We have been invited to be a partner in the ESS program taught by Cornell in Hawaii. Students stay 15 weeks at the Hawaii Prep. Acad. in Waimea. We are the only other institution invited (Chuck Greene and Drew Harvell, Cornell, also work at FHL). I think this is a great opportunity for our environmental students to benefit from an excellent program with top faculty. Costs are about $22500 for the program, tuition room and board. When students are not in Hawaii they will be at FHL preparing, and writing up their results. This is an experimental year for us, and we expect this to be available in future years – registration is through UWEO.

Please look at these websites and let me know if any students are interested. They should contact me directly. Thank you.
