Student presentation competition at UW GIS Day, 11/14

Hi folks,

On Nov. 14th, UW Libraries and campus GIS groups are holding the 2nd annual UW GIS Day at the Allen Library Research Commons. Part of the event includes a student project competition: UW students at all levels are invited to present posters, maps or other GIS-/remote sensing-related projects that they’re working or have worked on. There are prizes… and at last year’s event, two of the six presenters were from ESS, and they won 1st and 3rd place! With some luck we can continue the streak. 🙂

More information about the event as a whole, including the event webpage, is listed in the message forwarded below. Thanks for your assistance! Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Cheers,
Steven
