Space grant can’t participate in this activity due to other committments.
I was wondering if Rockin’ Out would be available to participate.

Last month you participated in the Seattle Science Festival and helped make that event a raging success. I am writing to invite you to participate in GirlFest in October. GirlFest is an all day event, hosted by the Girl Scouts of Western Washington that "celebrates everything cool about being a girl". We are pushing to have more and more STEM booths and opportunities available at GirlFest every year. We understand the importance of getting girls interested in STEM from an early age and strive to offer these opportunities to the girls of Western Washington. Last year, we had FIRST robotics teams, the WA State Climatologist’s office and the Pacific Science Center participating among our many vendors.

This year GirlFest is on October 20, 2012 from 10am-5pm in the CenturyLink Field Events Center. We are expecting 6000 girls and their families to attend from all over Western Washington. This will be a fantastic opportunity to show these girls how cool you are, promote any activities or camps you do and educate them on all the opportunities available to them.

I have attached our vendor application to this email. Please let me know if you have any questions about GirlFest, being a vendor, or anything else. More information about the event in general can be found at I am very excited to talk about getting you to GirlFest, if we have enough booths, we will have an entire row devoted to Science and STEM.

Thank you,
