The College of Education is pleased to announce a special MIT information session targeting those interested in teaching secondary mathematics and science on Monday, April 11, 5pm in Smith 205. Faculty and staff will cover program requirements, the application process and funding opportunities through the Noyce Teaching Scholars Program and the Annenberg/Wilson Fellowships. Recent MIT graduates will speak about their experience in the program and how the MIT prepared them for their new career as educators. Please share the attached flier with your students and colleagues. For those unable to attend this event, the College will be holding several other MIT info sessions along with a college-wide open house — a separate flier is attached listing those dates.
If you are able to attend the April 11 session, please know that your presence would be most welcome. It will be a great opportunity to get up to date on the certificate program and to meet potential math and science teachers.
Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
