Geoscience Currents #61: Flow of Geoscience Majors from Community Colleges – a CA Example
The California Postsecondary Education Commission tracks the flow of students from community colleges into
California public universities. This data can be mined to track which community colleges yield the greatest
number of transfers into geoscience programs, as well as which geoscience programs at California public
universities receive the students from the greatest diversity of community colleges. An analysis of this data
is presented in this Geoscience Currents.
